The property
Handed down from generation to generation, the J.L. Vergnon family estate embodies a beautiful harmony between tradition, passion for the terroir and the authentic expression of Chardonnay, the emblematic grape variety of the Champagne region.

The vineyard
Domaine J.L. Vergnon mainly grows Grands Crus from the Côte des Blancs, as well as Premiers Crus from the villages of Vertus and Villeneuve. The vineyard, comprising around twenty plots, is managed using a sustainable approach and has been awarded HVE 3 (High Environmental Value) certification.

The wine
The vintage Conversation Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut J.L. Vergnon comes from parcels located on the famous terroirs of the villages of Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger and Avize.

Vinification and ageing
This cuvée is made from 20 % of reserve wine, matured for 3 months in oak barrels, and 80 % of wine of the year, vinified in stainless steel vats. After fermentation in the cellar, the champagne is aged for 3 years before disgorging. The dosage is 5 g/litre for a subtle balance.
